House of Raminten is a restaurant which is provides traditional foods (nasi kucing, fried noodles, fried rice, any kind of satay, etc) and beverages (any kind of jamu). This business started in December 26, 2008. At the beginning, House of Raminten just provided traditional drinks, but as the time goes by, many customers gave them a suggestion to bring traditional foods also to their menu. And now, House of Raminten has much kind of foods in their menu. This restaurant is built in the same place where the owner’s is live. This restaurant open in every Monday until Saturday at 08.00 am to 12.00 pm.

HOW TO DEAL WITH THE RISKS

· Space problem

They realized that they do not have a wide area, and they can not expand the space or move to another place that wider. Therefore to solve this problem, they try to add more space that actually is not the place for customer to eating there. But, the condition made them to do it, to make an additional table to cover the numerous customers.


· Time problem to serve the order

To solve this problem, the manager changed the system and added more supervisors to manage the job of the employees. And then the waiter and other employees that work there is already trained, in order to do their job faster.


· Supplier

In this problem, the manager try bargain the price to the supplier and periodically choose the best quality of groceries that they bought.


· Fasting month

For fasting month, to avoid loss because of this, House of Raminten decided to change the schedule just for one month. This restaurant that is usually open at 08.00 am until 12.00 pm, now for fasting month, they open from 04.00 pm to 05.00 am. They did that because in the afternoon, they predict that the customers will not in the same amount when it is not in the fasting month.
